Mission Statement: ArtZone Sun Peaks is a non-profit community organization promoting the growth and accessibility of arts and culture in Sun Peaks. We provide opportunities for artists of all backgrounds and abilities and strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone can participate in the arts. (2023)

About Us
For over a decade, ArtZone Sun Peaks has been the creative heartbeat of our mountain community — a place where arts and culture thrive alongside the slopes and trails.
Founded in 2012, ArtZone began with a simple but powerful goal: to create a home for the arts in a resort best known for outdoor adventure. From the very beginning, a dedicated core group of local artists and community members brought their ideas, energy, and commitment to making arts and culture a visible and accessible part of village life. What started as pop-up displays in cafés and shops has grown into a vibrant, multi-disciplinary organization that celebrates visual art, performance, and film.
Over the years, ArtZone has hosted workshops, exhibitions, theatre performances, summer camps, and film events, building a lasting foundation for creativity in Sun Peaks and providing opportunities for community members of all ages to engage with the arts.
In 2025, ArtZone reached a major milestone with the launch of The ArtHub — a dedicated space for workshops, camps, exhibitions, and collaboration. The ArtHub represents not just a physical home, but a symbol of how far the organization has come: from borrowed walls to permanent roots.
Today, ArtZone continues to grow through partnerships, programs, and the passion of local artists and volunteers. Our mission is to make art accessible, engaging, and essential to life in Sun Peaks — creating community through creativity, one project at a time.

Painting & sketching collective
Whether it is oil, watercolours, acrylics, pencils or pen and ink, there is a place for you in the Painting and Sketching Collective. This Collective supports all abilities from beginner to advanced with workshops and drop-in studio days. They also will be showcasing their work at the upcoming Summer Markets!
Photography & Film Collective.
The Photography Film Collective is for photographers of all abilities and offers opportunities to the community to learn more about photography by hosting workshops. Our community has many photographers that can help you hone your skills. Are you a video enthusiast? Come show off your best movies!
Fibre Arts Collective
The Fibre Arts Collective meet monthly to have show-and-tell and encourage and further inspire members. Whether it's knitting, quilting, weaving, crocheting or embroidery, all levels of talent and skills are welcome!
Writers & Readers Collective
Are you a poet, writer, or someone who enjoys a good book? The writers and readers collective is the place for you. Get together to discuss what you are reading, or share what you written with a supportive group of peers.
Music Collective
Our acoustic jams are a fun and easy way to get out there and play along.
Community choir, Open-mic session, House Concerts? We'd love to hear your ideas and bring more music to the mountains!
Performing Arts Collective
Is there a desire toward the dramatic in you? Are you a dancer, circus act, or ?? Let's see what we can do to create a vibrant Performing Arts scene. Contact us if you have a desire to inspire this Collective.
