Bruce Mitchell

Bruce is a former Sun Peaks resident, a retired teacher and school administrator, an author and an artist. He is best known for his acrylic paintings on repurposed skis and snowboards. His commissioned paintings often depict a family’s skiing adventures and winter fun on a one of a kind ski or snowboard. In a number of cases the painted ski or board is a sentimental favourite of one of the client’s family members. He also enjoys painting winter scenes on canvas and water colour paper.
