In this fun and creative watercolour class, kids aged 7–16 years will learn the basic principles of watercolour painting through hands-on activities and guided practice.
Students will explore colour mixing, brush control, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, and how to create light, texture, and movement with paint.
As a final project, each student will create their own magical Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) painting, featuring glowing skies and silhouetted North American animals such as wolves, bears, and moose. This project encourages imagination, confidence, and artistic expression while introducing foundational watercolour skills.
No prior experience needed, all materials provided. Students will leave with new techniques, a finished masterpiece, and a deeper love for art and nature.
