In this fun and informative 4hr workshop, you’ll make your very own Spinner Ring. Also known as fidget rings or meditation rings, spinner rings are stylish, playful, and so satisfying to wear. Inspired by Tibetan prayer wheels, these rings feature one or more loose outer bands that spin freely around a flared inner ring a perfect mix of movement and design!
You’ll create your own custom spinner ring using traditional silversmithing techniques. Learn how to texture, form, solder, and flare metal to get that smooth, spinning motion just right.
The main band will be made in copper or brass, and your spinner ring can be crafted in silver, copper, or brass for contrast and creativity.
If you’d like to make your main band in sterling silver, sheet metal will be available for purchase at the studio.
No previous experience is required—this workshop is a great introduction to traditional silversmithing and metalworking techniques in a supportive studio environment.
Copper and Brass are included.
Silver is NOT included and can be purchased at the studio if you’d like it.

With over 25 years of experience, Charlene has studied a wide range of jewellery-making techniques and continues to expand her skills through ongoing learning and exploration.
Her work is driven by a deep curiosity about metals and how they interact, as well as a long-standing love of the stones she works with. Each stone plays a central role in shaping the final design, resulting in jewellery that is often one of a kind and guided by the natural character of the materials themselves.
With the experience and time to hone her craft, Charlene creates high-quality, heirloom jewellery pieces designed to be worn, cherished, and passed on.
