Sun Peaks Film Festival - LOCAL'S NIGHT!

  • ArtZone Sun Peaks Arts Society Box 11, Heffley Creek PO, Heffley Creek, BC Sun Peaks, BC Canada (map)

The Locals Film Contest is a key event of the Sun Peaks Festival!

Two categories & endless creativity. Pick your style and jump in.

Locals Night is a signature event of the Sun Peaks Festival, celebrating storytelling, creativity, and the unique perspectives within our community. Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker, an emerging creator, or someone with a great story to share, this festival is your opportunity to shine.

This year’s festival features two creative categories: the Short Film Showcase (2–15 minutes) and the 60-Second Shredit. Both celebrate story first—your ability to capture attention, evoke emotion, and leave an impact.

Join us after the screenings for an after-party to keep the celebration going.

Read on for full category details, submission deadlines, and everything you need to know.
