Where My Heart Belongs is an exploration of connection-to home, to nature, to memory, and to the land.
Real leaves adorned in gold and silver swirl across the canvas like the moments that carry us through our lives. At the base of it all, a crimson heart breaks free from the largest leaf, caught in the motion of chaos as it drifts away.
The heart-shaped opening remains behind: a small absence that says something surprisingly beautiful about love. Sometimes belonging means holding close. Sometimes it means letting go. And sometimes, after wandering, we discover that our heart has known its home all along.
